I weighted in after exercise ( I know I shouldn´t, because I am still with my period...) and it was 126.5 lbs (57.4kg) ... hope I can be in the 125 when my period is gone....

317 DAYS TO GO

My period just came today... so no weight-in till it is gone!
The last number I saw on the scale was lower than 126 lbs, and I don't want to see it again ever!

At least my period is much less painful thanks to the Chujoto tea. Now I don't need to spend the first day in bed.



I like watching "I used to be fat". You can see some episodes on Youtube.
If I feel tempted to eat unhealthy food, I just watch it and my mind goes into healty mode again! haha

Sunday... finally I can go running during the day.. although it wasn't sunny :(
I definetly need to buy running gloves. I'll check the options at Decathlon... I hope there have pink ones :)

After running I weighted myself before showering  and..... 125.65 lbs!!!

No exercise for today, but the food was ok.
Hope the scale shows a good number tomorrow morning and I am plannin to go running (if it doesn't rain), so I hope on monday I am under 126 lbs.

Wow! Another record, 126.54 lbs (57.4 kg). I haven't weighted this "little" since probably 2010.

I am getting closer and closer to my next goal (125 lbs). Hope I can get there before Xmas.

Sorry I've been out for some days, but I've done quite well with food and exercise.

I can't write what I ate ... I have bad memory :), so I'll just write today intake and exercise.

Today, after exercising I was 127.6 lbs! My lowest so far!!

    326 DAYS TO GO. Fast day 3. 128.7 lbs (0 lbs)

    Today is my third day of fasting. During my second day of fasting I didn't lose any weight... I hope tomorrow I lose another 2.8 lbs like during my first day of fast.

    BREAKFAST

    LUNCH:

    • One red pepper filled in with beef, one egg and carrots.  Yes, my fast is finished...
    DINNER:
    • We went to Ikea, and I had the 10 meatballs plate ( I let my bf had some of them, so I had 6 of them). I googled it and it is like 365 cal

    I broke my fast, but I am not angry with myself, because I also did lot of exercise:
    • In the morning I went grocery shopping: 45 min walking: 140 cal
    • Riding to and from the Shopping center: 1h 20 min: 390 cal
    • Walking in the shopping center: more than 2 hours: 245 cal
    • TOTAL: 775 cal 
    We will see what the scale says tomorrow.... :S

    327 DAYS TO GO. Fast day 2. 128.7 lbs (-2.8 lbs)

    Good morning everyone!

    Today is Friday and the weather is great! A weekend ahead to do exercise and keep going with my fast. So far, in just one day I lost 2.8 lbs (1.3 kg), not bad but I know it's mostly water. I'll keep doing exercise so I don't lose muscle and keep drinking water to avoid dihydration.

    During all day long I am having tea with some soy milk and 4 cups of coffee with milk (no sugar). Today I felt cold (I guess because of the fast), I need more and more hot tea ! :)

    For dinner I had a bowl of fish&seafood soup.

    EXERCISING:

    • 20 min cycling: 130 cal

    328 DAYS TO GO. Fast day 1. 131.5 lbs

    I am going to start another fast today, like last month, when I did a 5 days fast and lost 5 pounds.
    In my last fast, I went down from 133lbs to 128lbs and a month after the fast I weighed 131.5 lbs, so I can tell that I definetly lost 2.5 pounds for good.

    This time I definetly can make it 9 days because my parents are out of town this weekend, so I won't have any family meal. Maybe I can make it one week longer if I can avoid the weekend meals with my family.

    In this fast, I want to get under my next goal (125lbs) so that when I end the fast I can stay under 125lbs.  I will keep doing exercise as regular so I don't lose muscle  and keep my metabolism high.

    I still can't comment on other people's blog... it is so weird ;(

    INTAKE

    Sorry I didn't update during the weekend...
    It was ok food wise, but I didn't do any exercise.
    I went over my parent's place so there I had some coffee with sugar :S and some chocolates, but that's all about it. I could have eaten much more since they were offering me cookies and other Christmas treats... Christmas treats!! Come on! It is still beginning of December...

    Anyway, today is Monday, and a new month. My goal this month is at least 5 kilos. I will go visiting some friends abroad in a month, and I want them to notice that I lost weight!
    So I need to do more exercise and watch out my intake.

      I am not going to weigh in myself till my period is over.... I hate my period because it means that my weight changes during those days and I can't know my real weight!!

      Today weight is not what I expected, specially after I run half marathon yesterday. But it might be caused by my period that came yesterday.
      I am afraid today I won't go out running since it is rainning cats and dogs. Tomorrow the weather will be better.

      Yesterday my brother noticed that I lost weight (he didn't see me for 20 days) so that makes me happy. Maybe the scale doesn't show excellent numbers, but I am gaining muscle while losing fat, so the numbers on the scale won't always go down.

      Winter is definetly here, so I wear long trousers when I go out running.  What I like about it is that I can wear some extra weight on my ankles without anybody noticing when I go walking or running. I am also doing lot of squats (both legs and singles)  at any time of the day.

      350 DAYS TO GO . 129.6lbs

      It seems the exercise I made yesterday is working. I didn't lose weight, but hey! .. I didn't gain any weight!
      Anyway... I shouln't focus too much on the scale... muscle weighs more than fat, so I can be heavier but fitter.

      Here is my weight and exercise progress for the past months:



      Yesterday I beat my own running record.  Personal best One hour of 8.82 km which is a 310.51 m improvement.
      I am making an exercise plan so I can run 5K in less than 30 min before end of Feb 2014.

      Winter is coming, so if you want to save some money in your heating bill, here is an idea: heat your room with candles!  You just need 2 or 3 candles (the ones you can get in IKEA work ok, the 100pcs pack that last for 4 hours) and two pots!

      I will try it as soon as I buy the materials and let you know!

      Well, it is normal that after a fast I gain some weight back (specially when I ate 2 doughnuts yesterday), and I am happy that I am gaining it much slower than I lost it, but I want to break this trend and go back to the "losing weight" trend, so today I am planning to do more exercise.

      352 DAYS TO GO . 129lbs

      I gained a pound since I finish my juice fast (two days ago).
      I am "gaining" the weight back much slower than I lost it, so I don't consider it as gaining back the weight I lost during the juice fast. I will focus on juices and eating mostly fruit and vegetables Mon-Fri and only make another juice fast if I go up to 130 lbs again.

      Yesterday I had itchy and running nose... it was horrible.  Today it's much better!
      Was it because of milk? I don't really know. I won't have any diary product Mon-Fri, and then have some on Saturday and see what happens.
      Is milk really good for you?


      Outside is bloody windy, so I don't know if I will  go out running.

      So everything was fine, I didn't feel any stomach pain because of breaking my fast, and this morning I went to the loo as I used to do in the mornings.
      I still weith the same as yesterday (128 lbs). I guess if I work out hard to build muscle as I keep introducing more and more calories in my diet it will be fine.

      Today my allergy got worse.  I must have some allergy to something I ate today (today I drunk some milk in my tea and a yogurth.. maybe it's this).  I am going to stop eating any diary product and see if it improves (it did when I did my juice fast)

      354 DAYS TO GO. Juice fasting day 6. 128 lbs (- 5 lbs)

      I need to do some more exercise this weekend, so I don't lose muscle.
      I can feel that my jeans are looser than before, specially in the lower stomach area.

      I am not hungry yet, although I went shopping and there was Xmas chocolate everywhere.
      I can't be bother to make the juices either...but I will make an effort to make them and drink them.
      I guess it is because it's cold outside, but I rather drink my hot tea than cold juices.....

      LUNCH:

      355 DAYS TO GO. Juice fasting day 5. 129.2 lbs (-3.8 lbs)

      Today I reached my first goal, I am under 130 lbs.
      I know I shouldn't be very happy for it, since I am sure I will gain some weight once I finish my juice fast, but I will try my best to stay under 130lbs, eating only fruits and vegetables for some days after my juice fast and exercising.

      The past two days I wake up before my alarm clock rings and I feel I have more energetic.
      Today I woke up at 7.20 and I didn´t feel like going back to bed at all.

      I didn't go to the loo either. I guess my digestive systems is completely empty and cleaning itself.
      I don't feel hungry (in the mornings I have to force myself to drink the juices)

      I don't know how I am going to avoid lunch with my parents this weekend. I guess I tell them I am doing juice fast (although I am sure they won't understand).

      JUICES:
      • 2 apples, celery, 1/2 lemon and ginger
      • 2 pears, celery, ginger, 1/2 lemon, 2 small red radishes
      • 1 beet (with leaves), 3 carrot, 1/2 lemon, spinach

      I added some soy milk in my afternoon tea.

      356 DAYS TO GO. Juice fasting day 4. 130.3 lbs (-2.7 lbs)

      I didn't lose much weight since yesterday, but I don't think it is because of the chicken soup I drunk last night. Hopefully tomorrow I will be in the 120's
      Today I didn't go to the loo.

      The weekend is almost here... I will try  not to break my juice fast so I can continue next week and make my juice fast at least 10 days.

      Juice Fasting mode has conquered my fridge!

      357 DAYS TO GO. Juice fasting day 3. 130.7 lbs (-2.3 lbs)

      Today I feel fine. I lost 1.1 lbs.
      Another pimple popped out on my face, so I think it is because of the detoxing.

      Today at 17.00 ( 2 days and 5 hours after I started my juice fast) I start being hungry (I think it is more mental than physical need).

      Today I didn't do exercise. I was hungry, so for dinner I had chicken soup. I needed something hot!
      I don't think this will break my fast, since it is also a liquid. We will see how much I weight tomorrow.

      358 DAYS TO GO. Juice fasting day 2. 131.8 lbs (-1.2 lbs)

      Second day of juice fasting. I lost 1.2 lbs, not bad.
      Still not hungry, but today I felt a bit tired when I just woke up. After an hour it was already ok.
      During the past month, I usually wake up with lot of mucus and sneezing a lot, I guess it is some kind of allergy, but nothing important (yet) so I didn't go to see the doctor.
      Today, the symptoms are less, but I don´t know if it's because of the juice fasting. We will see if it complete disappear before I end the juice fast.
      Today I went to the loo regurarly (I usually go in the morning).

      I went grocery shopping and I didn't feel hungry, even though the whole supermarket is already full of Christmas sweets.

      At night, I saw my tongue was quite white.

      359 DAYS TO GO. Juice fasting day 1. 133lbs

      It is rainning :( ... I will go out running when it stops in the afternoon (if it does....)

      I am starting a juice fast today at 12.00pm. I need to go buying some more green vegs to do green juices, I hope the rain gives me a break!


      I am planning to do the juice fasting for 7 days, but I will see how my body reacts and will decide if I make it longer day by day.  I´ve read that the worts days are 2nd-4th, because your body is detoxing.

      It will be hard to fast, since I still need to cook for my bf. I hope I can resist the temptation. I will drink as much juice and tea as I need not to feel hungry. But I am really going to miss the milk in my tea....

      Today it was ok. I cook lunch for my bf and I didn't feel hungry. I drunk my juice while he was eating. No problem since my juice was delicious!
      I prepared a second batch of juices for the afternoon/evening, this time greener juices.
      At night, I wasn´t hungry either.
      One pimple pop up on my face, which is not usual (I don´t usually have pimples). I don´t know if it has to do with the detoxing process.

      EXERCISE:

      • Dancing class (990 cal). My feet hurt because I used new dancing shoes

      Our friend is leaving earlier than expected!
      Maybe tomorrow morning, so that means that maybe I can start my juice fast tomorrow!

      361 DAYS TO GO

      Saturday! I can go running in the morning!!

      I went running without having breakfast (just a little milk in my coffee).  Some studies show that doing exercise before breakfast (or after not eating for at least 4 hours) helps you to burn fat, since there is no other source of energy for your muscles.  If you exercise right after eating, your muscles will use all the sugar in your bloodstream, and it takes longer to start burning fat.

      So this is my workout today:

      EXERCISE:
      • Running 1010 calories (15.15 km).

      362 DAYS TO GO

      Yesterday I shouldn´t have eaten all that bread.... but I don´t know why, when watching TV I get hungry.... I guess it is because of all those food commercials ..

      I am going to weigh myself every Tuesday. I see pointless to weigh in everyday, since those small changes might be just because of water retention or dehydration.

      Today I really need to go running and burn at least 500 cal.

      I made my grocery list to buy all the fruits&vegs I need to do the juice fasting but...... shit!  a friend just came over to stay with us for a week ... so I can't start my juice fast till he is gone!!
      I am sure he will invite us for dinner out on the last night and it will also be awkward not to eat during his stay...
